Politecnico di Bari is an Italian public scientific-technological university founded in 1990 and it is one of the leading institution for studying engineering and architecture in Italy. Basically located in Bari, that is the main city of Apulia Region, Politecnico has locations also in Foggia and Taranto.
Since the beginning, policy of Politecnico has been distinguished by its focusing on quality of research and education innovation, internationalization and richness of higher education courses. International exchange activities in the teaching and learning area include several agreements with Institutions abroad, most of all in EU.
Politecnico’s team is dedicated to fulfilling the University’s educational and research mission, to advancing a vision for the University’s future, and to strengthen its tradition of academic excellence.
Nowadays Politecnico’s staff is composed of around 290 researchers/professors, and 295 members of administrative services. All of them support and work for around 12.000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. They can rely on a very wide campus with modern buildings, lecture rooms, research laboratories, studying rooms, leisure facilities and Internet point.

Educational offer of academic year 2014/2015 is made of 20 degree courses (3 and 5 years long), Masters and PhD courses.
