Politecnico di Bari welcomes students and trainees coming from European and non-European countries in the framework of several Exchange programmes. Any incoming student can attend classes from our Bachelor's degrees and our Master's degrees, or carry out a traineeship/internship within one of our 4 Departments.

Every partner institution has to send us the main information on selected candidates, exclusively by nomination letters by ordinary mail or by e-mail.

The International Office, after receiving the "Nomination" from the partner universities, will send an acceptance email to all the incoming students.
Upon specific request, an official invitation letter will be issued only to the non-EU citizens who have to apply for a VISA for Italy. The regularly nominated students or the regularly accepted free-movers in the acceptance email will receive the access data to enter our webpage.
Before or at their arrival in Bari, students should have a Learning Agreement duly signed by their Home Institution Coordinator. In order to have it signed by the Coordinator of Politecnico di Bari, it will be necessary to get in direct contact with the Departmental Coordinator for Mobility during business hours.
Students arriving in Bari must urgently go to the International Office to finalize the registration. All the incoming students will receive a Certificate of Arrival stating clearly the date of the beginning of their stay. This document will be essential to enroll. At the end of the stay, students are provided with a Certificate of Attendance.
The enrolment is formalized at the International Office. Incoming students must hand in the following documents:
If during the stay the student needs to update (add or delete courses) on the study plan, it will be necessary to fill in the Changes to the study plan and hand it again to the International Office.
A few days before leaving Bari the student must go to the International Office ask to issue the Certificate of Attendance and the Transcript of Records. In case some exams aren't regularly registered, the International Office will send the transcript to the address the student stated in the form and to the University Partner..
